Pu’olo

A short documentary highlighting the effects of climate change through the lens of Malia Nobrega-Olivera, a Native Hawaiian and practitioner of salt making.

Initially created as the final project for the class, "Climate Change: Why is it Unbelievable? Interdisciplinary Approaches to Environmental Action” at Stanford University, Malia’s story is an example of hope in the light of the alarming repercussions of the climate crisis and inspires a worldwide audience.

I am a multifaceted artist.
I grew up training as a ballerina.
Besides professional modeling,
I love singing, photography and filmmaking.
I am an intern with Project Underdog,
a student run non profit organization that
advocates for legislation against dog abuse.
